Digital Wellbeing - For Parents of Teens

When: Thursday November 23, 2023 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm

Where: At Strathcona County Family and Community Services (by the library)


Learn how to help your teen with the social and technological pressures they face in the world today.  Together we will go through research-based ways we can support teens when they are feeling the pressure of their digital lives. Issues addressed include interacting with strangers online, understanding their digital identity, and healthy relationships.

ERA 2023 Poster Competition 

The ERA is proud to announce their 6th Kid’s Poster Contest that will launch September 1st and run until Dec 1st. We are asking students in Elementary, Jr High & High Schools across Canada to use their creative minds for a chance to win a FREE laptop. 



This competition is designed to have their teachers educate students on the importance of sustainability and the 3 R’s (Reduce Reuse Recycle) and bring their vision of an ever-changing environment to paper.
