8th Grade: Transition to High School

In 8th grade, our scholars receive additional guidance and support to assist with their transition into high school. The New Heights Team is committed to supporting scholars to find a best-fit high school community. Select scholars have the opportunity to take New York State Algebra I and U.S. History & Government Regents.  We also host commemorative activities for 8th-grade scholars that include a senior trip, prom, and graduation.
