Miss Covell - Bridge Manager

Hello I'm Miss Covell,

I am the Bridge manager so you can find me in the Bridge near Humanities.

I've worked at Newbold for over 20 years and love my job.

When not at school I love to cook, garden, watch TV and go to Zumba

Mrs Hollingworth - PLC Manager

My name is Mrs Hollingworth , I have worked at Newbold for 15 years and I am the PLC Manager .

The PLC stands for the Personalised Learning Centre and students work here on individual plans for their learning .

I also work with our Sports Ambassadors who organise and run sporting events in School .

When I am not in School I am very busy I am a Rainbow and Guide leader and also a Local Councillor . I also enjoy cooking and swimming and watching athletics , para-athletics and gymnastics.

I am looking forward to seeing you in September!

What is the Bridge?

The Bridge is a calm environment so our students who may be struggling have an area to wind down in and receive support from Miss Covell.

What is the PLC?

The Personalised Learning Centre is a supportive environment for students who need a little bit of extra one to one support from Mrs Hollingworth.
