Behavioral-Educational, Assessment, and Monitoring Team (B.E.A.M.)
The mission of the team is to provide a comprehensive approach to behavior and educational support that includes evaluation, assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring. The team engages in strategic planning to create a systematic process by integrating activities to monitor, evaluate, and support district initiatives as they relate to students reaching their full potential.
Responsibilities include:
Implementation planning and monitoring of CHAMPS framework, including fidelity monitoring, across district pilot schools
Determine student enrollment in the SSB/Day Treatment Classes (Students with Significant Behaviors)
Monitor District Discipline Data
Monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
Monitor at-risk students’ attendance
Assess needs, develop strategic plan, implement strategies and programs, and monitor Mental Health initiatives in the District
Collaborate through monthly meetings
Report to District Safety Committee findings and recommendations
