Stress Less

Workshop

Welcome to the Stress Less Workshop

Hi Everyone! We miss seeing you in school, and we hope that you are all well!

E-Learning is new to us all, and we recognize that this may bring about different and unique stressors for each and every one of you. We created this Google Site as a way to stay connected with all of you and to allow us to teach stress-reducing strategies you can access at home.

The Stress Less Workshop provides an opportunity for students to learn skills to help with stress management, anxiety reduction, emotion regulation, and attention. Topics in this workshop will include:

  • Strategies to manage stress and other difficult emotions

  • How to show gratitude and the effects of positive thinking

  • How to be present, and attentive, in school and throughout our lives

  • How our thoughts, emotions, and actions are connected

The workshop consists of ten lessons total. Like any sport, instrument, or craft, stress reduction skills are cultivated through practice. We look forward to helping your child and your family use these skills to feel less stressed and be more present!

We created an online Google Form in order to hear your feedback. What strategies were the most helpful for you? What would you like to see more of or learn more about?

We hope you enjoy the Stress Less Workshop, and please fill out the google form so we know how it is going for you and what we can adjust as the group moves along! :)
