Dear Parents,
As the weather cools, we are beginning to see more non-uniform outerwear such as hoodies, crew neck sweatshirts, and other athleisure-style tops.
We completely understand that students want to stay warm, especially with frequent transitions to and from the modular classrooms.
That said, these items are not part of the approved uniform and should not be worn during the school day. Students who arrive in non-uniform outerwear will be asked to remove it, and in some cases may need to call home for appropriate clothing.
To help us avoid this, please ensure your student has access to an approved uniform-style pullover, fleece, or sweater. This allows them to stay comfortable while also supporting the standards that make our school culture so strong.
Thank you for helping us uphold these expectations. Our dress code helps maintain an elevated environment and encourages students to demonstrate respect for themselves, one another, and the important work they do each day. Our students thrive when we are consistent, and your support makes a tremendous difference.
Please refer to the school's uniform guidelines, and don't hesitate to contact Ms. Burley directly with any questions.
Warm regards,
Ms. Burley
