Archers,
We are excited to be using School Pass again for our attendance and dismissal program. Please take some time to read the important information below.
If you haven’t done so already, please follow the details below to set up your School Pass Account for the 2025-2026 School Year. Also, please take some time to review the short instructional videos below.
During carline, please respect the following rules:
Refrain from cell phone usage during carline. Staff will be asking politely to stop if cell phones are being used. We understand that you are busy and need to make calls – if you absolutely need to make a call, please use your speaker phone or bluetooth.
Watch for students crossing the crosswalk to the modular buildings. Staff will be there to act as crossing guards.
AM carline gates open at 7:20 am and close at 7:45 pm.
PM carline gates open at 2:30 pm and close at 3:30 pm. (Times may vary during the first few weeks of school, inclement weather or if we have technical difficulties)
Do not speed, please slow down! We understand you may be running late at times, but we still have students and staff crossing the parking lot.
Once gates are closed for AM & PM Carline, students may be dropped off/picked up in the front office.
Please do not block the South entrance to the school. We need to keep that clear for students/parents/staff that must exit from that driveway.
Every family is issued 2 carline tags. If there are other family members/friends picking up, they can be added into your School Pass account as an approved driver and do not need a carline tag for pick up. For special situations where you feel you need more than 2 carline tags, please email Ms. Burley.
If at any time your student(s) is no longer enrolled at Ascent, you will be required to return all carline tags to the front office. If you lose these tags at any time, please let Ms. Burley know. You will be charged $50 for every carline tag that is lost.
For the safety and security of our students, we strongly encourage families to avoid picking up their children in the Main Lobby between 2:30 and 3:00 PM. Due to the high volume of activity during this time, our front office staff may not be able to assist you promptly. To avoid delays, if you need to pick up your child before the end of the school day, please plan to pick up before 2:30 PM or schedule appointments for a different time of day. Please understand that Archers Athletic's early dismissal does not fall under this request.
As you are setting up your School Pass account, please note the following:
Under profile, please do not add any information under vehicles, license plates or toll tag numbers. This is not necessary. You should see a serial number in the plate/tag section-- please DO NOT remove or edit this. This is the barcode number that is linked to your School Pass account.
Under Drivers, please only add drivers to this list that are not associated with your students or not apart of the Ascent family. For example, if you have a nanny/grandparent/friend who will be picking up your students and these people will not have your barcode, add them as a driver.
When adding drivers that are approved for pick up, click drivers and then add the required information. There is no need to add license plates/tag numbers.
Please DO NOT add a spouse or guardian you have already listed in your Powerschool account with custody and pick up rights for your students. These people will receive their own account since they are associated with your students in Powerschool.
If you are planning to have a carpool within our Ascent Community, you are able to set that up now simply by clicking the + sign, carpool, select date, select carpool, search by last name for the family your student is going with, select and then hit submit. You and the person you are carpooling with will receive notifications of the change.
