• When: Wednesday, October 15th    8am - 11am

• Who: Open to Sophomores and Juniors

• Where: At the school during parent/teacher conferences

What is it? 

This is an additional test for students who either want more practice for the SATs or hope to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship.

The National Merit Scholarship is a prestigious program that offers undergraduate scholarships to academically exceptional high school students, based on their performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) and a subsequent application process.

Why take it?

The PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) is worth taking for several reasons, including practice for the SAT, potential qualification for the National Merit Scholarship Program, and access to personalized college and career planning resources.

• Learn and practice your skills on Khan Academy
