The Online Instructional Designs for OCoP began with thoroughly analyzing, evaluating, and dissecting a previous class group’s design with different Harasim indicators, which allowed me to visualize the elements of an OCoP meaningfully. I did so by focusing on social and intellectual indicators, like community building and social engagement, and found various opportunities for collaboration and continued connection. I proceeded to consider procedural indicators and technological indicators with subsequently prepared to design my own OCoP to meet elevated standards. In developing my own OCoP design, I used a pull from various influencing factors but focused on more opportunities to foster intellectual discourse through discussions intending to foster community building.

In creating this BlackBoardLearn course, I was an instrumental part of a group that cared about providing the highest quality of technical resources to address professional issues prevalent in many educators. There were various elements of continued learning I experienced throughout this project. There was a decent amount of knowledge I needed to acquire to address a broad subject, such as teacher well-being, burnout, and stress management. In conducting research, I deepened my understanding of the humanistic side of stress in education and put deep thought into implementing change through technology. Creating a Bblearn Professional development course to address these issues and its accompanying network links, such as a Facebook page and various other outlets for interaction, was vital in improving upon and strengthening my understanding of how best to implement technology for the betterment of emotional and mental well-being. Leadership and management were critical elements of having a successful outcome, not just in the sense of leading but also understanding that sometimes one must be led. Learning from the leadership and management skills of others inherently improves upon one's knowledge and dispositional intelligence.
