Continuous learning to deepen content, technical, and leadership knowledge and skills.
This Instructional Design presentation on the Successive Approximation Model (SAM) best showcases continued learning and content deepening. By researching and learning about another instructional design model, I was able to expand my content knowledge. The presentation is concise and informative to learners interested in deepening their content knowledge.
Reflection on how the course content and group interaction helped deepen knowledge and sharpen your content, technical, and leadership skills in terms of designing instruction.
Navigating the course content in a group setting was beneficial in various ways. My group and I worked well together in that we listened to each other, bounced ideas off one another, never dismissed opinions, and worked to build upon the ideas of our team members. The effectiveness of our collaboration produced elevated results in instructional design. My knowledge deepened with every group meeting and project. In our group, a designated leader was never named; however, we all exuded leadership qualities at various times and utilized the strengths of each other to serve the group and the instructional design process better. I will continue to employ the knowledge I gained through the influences of my group members in future instructional design endeavors.

The Universal Design Guidelines (UDL) slide presentation and Competency-based InfoDoc are both creations I am proud of. Both of these assignments involved researching a specific subtopic of an umbrella topic. I was driven to focus on the details and nail down the specificities to comprehend and synthesize them meaningfully for others to benefit from having them as a learning resource.
