Popularisation Section

The popular science section, also known as Science Made Accessible (Přírodověda populárně), is largely a student-driven initiative dedicated to promoting the natural sciences and the Faculty of Science. Its contributors transform scientific articles written by Faculty researchers into concise and accessible texts for a broader audience. They also conduct interviews with Faculty staff and report on events taking place within the Faculty community.

The section’s outputs are published across various parts of the Faculty website, on social media platforms, and through the Přírodovědci.cz outreach project.

Students can participate not only as readers but also as active contributors by becoming editors and authors themselves. This provides an opportunity to engage with current scientific research at the Faculty, develop written communication skills in both Czech and English, and receive financial support in the form of a scholarship.
