Accommodation

Accommodation for students of Charles University in Prague is primarily provided by the Koleje a menzy UK (KaM). It is possible to apply for accommodation within the halls of residence of other universities, although in this case it is necessary to check the current application deadlines in the valid timetables of individual halls of residence, which may differ from each other. Students who have not yet secured accommodation and future students from all universities in the Czech Republic can apply for accommodation directly within the available capacity of a selected dormitory of Charles University (UK). Accommodation applications can be submitted either at the dormitory's housing offices or electronically through the Rehos sales portal available on the Dormitories and Canteens website (rehos.cuni.cz/crpp/). The available capacity of the dormitories can be used for accommodation at any time during the year, as there is practically always some available capacity. It is necessary to inquire at the office of the respective dormitory, preferably via email or phone.

If you prefer to live privately, we recommend regularly checking offers in various Facebook groups and other sites. Although it is not very common for scams to occur, caution is always in order. Never pay before you see the apartment and always read the rental agreement carefully.
