The Dual Enrollment program provides students the opportunity to be enrolled in college courses while attending high school. Students can earn college credit, explore electives, and challenge themselves academically through this program. Coursework of interest needs to be reviewed by a student's Counselor. Students can take courses three times throughout a given school year including the Fall Semester, Spring Semester, and Summer. Dual Enrollment is not intended to have students complete graduation required courses since all coursework is available and accessible here at Inderkum High School. Courses are offered online and/or in person based on a student's need. Many of our students dual enroll through the Los Rios Community College District. See below for additional information.
The student has completed 8th grade or will be at least 14 years old by the first day of instruction.
The student is prepared for advanced study as recommended by their school official
If a high school student, then the student has parental consent to be admitted and enrolled at the college.
Inderkum Counselors highly recommend that students have a 2.5 GPA or higher to enroll in this program.
The Summer 2025 registration period will open on March 25th. Please refer to the link below to follow the new steps to apply.

Take a look at some of the courses that Inderkum students have taken in the past to give you some ideas. The spreadsheet to the left gives you course names, a course description, the numbers of credits you should expect to earn in each class, tells you whether courses are UC/CSU transferrable and lets you know what a-g area (subject area) the course can count for.
