        • Learn how to help your students get the most out of videos with EdPuzzle. With the ability to connect directly to Google Classroom, EdPuzzle allows you to create multiple choice, true/false, and short answer questions to gauge your students' comprehension of material presented via video.   • Monday April 27 - Desmos Activities for Algebra - Colleen Mathews, ToSA

        • Desmos is a free graphing and teaching tool for math. In addition to plotting equations, classroom activities are available to help students learn about a variety of math concepts. An algebra activity for quadratics will be presented along with examples of many other activities that for introducing or practicing math concepts.

        • Whether you used Seesaw this year in your classroom or want to start now with remote learning, this session will review what it looks like at home with home learning codes. We'll discuss the most commonly asked questions, troubleshooting ideas, the activity library, and even extend in to Seesaw Blogs!



  • Monday April 20 (and Monday May 4) - BrainPop Make-A-Movie (Grades 3-6) - Jen Anderson, ToSA

        • With Make-a-Movie, you can make your own BrainPOP-style movies, building scenes with images from BrainPOP’s library, or creating your own drawings. Students can record narration, manipulate backgrounds, and add transitions between scenes.

        • Make-a-Movie cultivates planning, organizing, writing, collaborating, and analyzing skills. Students take ownership of their learning as they engage with curricular content on a deeper level and demonstrate their comprehension of a BrainPOP topic.
