Build Content in Your Sandbox Course

• First, create your resources: pages, assignments, quizzes, etc.

• Second, assemble the resources into modules.

You can do this step at any time. For the rest of the steps, you need to wait until your school creates and rosters your courses in Aeries.

Set up your Aeries Gradebooks following the instructions on this page.

If you plan to do all or most of your grading in Canvas, you should make sure that (a) you create your gradebooks for all terms (Fall and Spring, or Tri 1/2/3) at once, and (b) you should not link your gradebooks. These are different recommendations than we have made in past years, but will help your grades sync reliably and easily.

Copy Materials from your Sandbox Course to a Rostered Course

  • (If you are going to sync grades to Aeries, your assignment groups in Canvas must exactly match the categories in your Aeries Gradebook.)
