Aeries Gradebook is a digital tool within the Aeries Student Information System that allows teachers to create, manage, and track student grades efficiently and accurately. Designed to support both traditional and standards-based grading, it enables educators to organize assignments into categories, apply custom weighting, and calculate overall grades in real time. Integrated with student data and accessible to families through the Aeries Portal, the Gradebook fosters transparency and communication between teachers, students, and parents. It also supports grade passback from platforms like Canvas and Google Classroom, making it a central hub for managing academic performance across a school or district.

NA and TX both count the assignment as 0 points out of 0 possible; no effect on student’s grade. TX keeps the assignment on the student’s “missing assignment” list; NA does not.
Use TX for “temporarily excused” assignments, ones that you expect the student to turn in at some point.
Use NA for “permanently excused” assignments, ones the student is not expected to turn in.
