With DnA, you can create your own or use prebuilt assessments, and upload scores from district assessments. Use assessment results to inform your instruction with your PLCs to maximize student learning .
If a students is using DnA to take an assessment, they no longer need to open the Renaissance Lockdown Browser from the Apps button on their Chromebook.
When a student is in a class that is required to use a secure browser, after they log in to Renaissance, the Renaissance LockDown Browser will open, and the student will take the assessment in that browser window. When the assessment is done, the student will see a message telling them that their LockDown browser session has ended.
Access Renaissance
Students will now see a Renaissance Testing button in Portal Plus. Students will be able to enter their student login and the access code given to them by their teacher. A teacher can give the full URL from the assessment and send it to their students, and students would only need to enter their student login.
Launch Lockdown Browser
Once the assessment is selected, the Renaissance platform with automatically launch the Lockdown Browser in a new window.
Complete the Assessment
The student will take the assessment with in the secure Lockdown Browser environment, which prevents them from accessing other applications or websites.
Submit and Exit
After completing the assessment, students will submit their answers and the Lockdown Browser will automatically close.
