This article I found discusses how the radio played a big part in the titanic tragedy. It talks about how about fifteen minutes before the titanic hit the iceberg and sank something had happened. What had happened was they had received a wireless message from a ship called the Californian. This ship was about 20 miles away. This ship was trying to explain to them how there are a lot of icebergs in the area. Yet they didn’t stop the titanic because of icebergs like the Californian did. To me and this is some evidence that the titanic sank, for not paying attention to one action.
“About fifteen minutes before the Titanic hit the iceberg, Cyril F. Evans, a wireless operator on the Californian, which was about 20 miles away.”
“ Attempted to contact the Titanic to tell them they were surrounded by dangerous icebergs.”
