God is the best and He has the best for you. God is the source of wisdom, joy, love, strength, goodness, creativity, and much more. He is the source of every good (James 1:17).
Jesus said, "He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him" (John 14:21).
The first commandment is to get rid of idols and have no other gods besides the Lord. What does this mean? This means we must remove the other gods from our hearts and from our homes.
We should not worship anyone but God.
So be careful to not worship any saints or angels.
"You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only." (Matthew 4:10)
"You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God…" (Exodus 20:3-5)
Be careful to not bow down to any saints or angels. Bow down to God the Father and Jesus only.
Saints or angels cannot save us from our sins or provide for us.
But it is a sin to worship them and to ask them to provide for you.
