Hello, my name is Robert Dunlap, Jr.

I am completing the Ed.S program for Instructional Technology  2023. I currently work for Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency as an Instructor. The courses that I teach are employment skills 1 & 2, along with Graphic Design. I work with individuals with disabilities to assist them in gaining employment through vocational education programs. The students have an opportunity to learn how to conduct low-voltage wiring installation in homes or work as an apprentice in the electrical industry. Another program that is offered at the center is computer networking. The students learn to configure local area networks and connect devices together. I undertook this program because I wanted to further my education toward a doctoral degree. This program has great rewards to offer after earning a specialist degree.  I plan to take what I have learned and integrate technology into the classroom after completing this program, and then  I will take a break and move forward toward a doctoral degree in Higher Education Administration at UWG.  This course has inspired me in many ways especially when it comes to building a curriculum that meets the objectives of the learning goals for the students and ISTE which is aligned with the learning outcome in order for the students to master the material.
