You are required to complete an End Point Assessment at the end of your learning journey.
End-point assessment (EPA) tests the knowledge, skills and behaviours that you have gained during your training. The EPA demonstrates your competence in occupational therapy as outlined on the occupational therapy apprenticeship standard. You need to pass this assessment to become a qualified practitioner - able to register with the Health Care Professions Council. As you are on an integrated degree apprenticeship you also gain the last 20 credits at level 6 after succesful completion.
Sheffield Hallam University is a registered EPAO provider and can therefore offer the EPA as part of the programme. The official EPA document for the Occupational Therapy Apprenticeship can be found via this link.
The assessment is currently made up of two main tasks outlined below. Remember this is what you need to complete at the End of your studies!
