Role-Playing Game Design

(DES 335)

DES 335 - Role-Playing Game Design

Units: 3.00

This course focuses on the structure and content of non-digital role-playing games. The course will explore the design of systems for character creation, character advancement, conflict resolution, equipment, and skills. An emphasis will be placed on world design, adventure development, and the interaction between narrative and system.

Time Taken: Spring 2023

Don't be fooled by the description; the class material is literally only about narrative. Disappointing for me since my thing is systems, but eh. Experience is experience, after all

These were half of the projects for the class, being creating a game system and improving on that game system at the end of the semester.
