LGBTQAI+ Supports

This guide is designed to help LGBTQ youth who aren't able to rely on their parents or guardians for financial support.

Chat Space provides live, chat-based discussion groups for LGBTQ+ and questioning teens ages 13 to 19. It is not a forum, and there is no video or audio. Everyone is chatting during the same pre-scheduled time. Our chats are facilitated by experienced staff and volunteers from youth programs at LGBTQ+ centers across the United States.

Gender Spectrum hosts free online groups for pre-teens, teens, parents, caregivers, and other family members and adults. These groups provide you with the opportunity to connect with others, share experiences, and feel the comfort of a supportive community.

The inspiration for this website comes from seeing the power and hope parents get from talking to each other in our weekly support group meetings. Magic happens in those spaces. Parents who arrive with sadness, nerves, and more questions than they can carry leave smiling and expressing hope. They feel less alone in the world. Because of that, we want to bring that power of connection to everyone.
