The Communities of Color Coalition (C3) mission is educating and advocating for social justice and human rights, especially for people of color and other under-represented groups that have been systemically oppressed. We do this through a transformational process that centers and supports those who are closest to the problem in developing and implementing the solutions necessary for systemic change. Our Diversion program provides up to 1,500 in financial assistance which can include/but not limited to rent, utility, medical or dental expenses, car repair, and more. The requirements include Snohomish county residence and family or household must be below 80% of the median for the county. I’ll link this income chart on our website below. Kutz 4 Kidz is a free voucher program designed to support families and promote self-esteem in students by offering a year-round haircut program for kindergarten-12th grade students. The Kutz 4 Kidz project is a program that supports homeless, low income and free and reduced lunch students. Students of Color Career Conference
EvCC’s Annual Students of Color Career Conference offers middle and high school students of color in the Snohomish County area a chance to learn from prominent local professionals of color. Through keynote speakers, cultural sharing, and panel sessions, students will have the opportunity to engage in discussions with experienced professionals of color and reflect on their own future career aspirations.
