Complete your design phase, documenting on your web site. This should include:
Articulated goals -- what is the expected output of your process? This should include:
Description of your artifact's purpose
Sketches of your proposed artifact
Your "algorithm" for achieving these goals: a step-by-step process that you plan to follow that produces the expected output.
Would someone else be able to follow your process?
What assumptions are you making about that person and the resources available?
The purpose of my artifact is it suppose to demonstrate cellular automata through the use of the 3D printer. It is suppose to show through generation. The expected output of my process is a 3d printed cellular automata. However, the 3d printed cellular automata didn't goes as plan and I ended up making a bandana with a embroidery cellular automata on it .
Would someone else be able to follow your process?
I believe someone will be able to follow my process. However, the person must have prior knowledge of what a cellular automaton is and know the software being used. (3D printer, p5.js, Bambo studio, cellular automaton, embroidery machine).
What assumptions are you making about that person and the resources available?
The assumption that I am making for someone to follow my algorithm is that they have access to a 3D printer and a computer, have previous knowledge of what a cellular automaton is, have previous knowledge of p5.js, and know how to use Bambo Studio. Unfortunately I had to switch from 3D printer to the embroidery machine so a person must know how to use a embroidery and have access to one.
