What did you most enjoy about this activity?
I enjoy eating the food the most, but beside that I enjoy preparing the food and making jokes with Ella, Lina, and Sofia. I keep on referencing different memes like this clip because Ella was getting tired of whisking the cream for the strawberry.
How did sharing a meal with people you might not know connect to the material discussed in class? (There’s a particular topic that this last activity is meant to emulate.)
The way this lesson of sharing a meal with someone connects to the material we discussed in class is by thinking of the humanity behind what we are creating. When designing an invention you always want to think about who your audience is and how the object you are design is accessible to everyone. So the theme behind us cooking was to think about other people and our design might effect each other
What issues and challenges did you encounter? How did you get around those obstacles?
I feel like I didn't face any challenges when cooking. Tabbouleh requires a lot of cutting and waiting for the boiling to finish. So when the water got to a boiling temperate we put the bulgar and salt in the water and while that was going Sofia and I were cutting the parsley leaves, mint, cucumber, tomatoes, and scallions.
What changes would you make in the future?
When it came to the dish (Tabbouleh) I was preparing I would add less lemon to it or add more cucumber so it can absorb the lemon. However, overall the dish came out good.
