Students need to determine who their mentors will be for their Senior Project. Each student needs to have two mentors for Senior Seminar. Students should ask one teacher and one community member who is an expert in their topic field.
Mentor Requirements:
1. No Relatives
2. Must be 21 years or older
3. At least one outside of Mashpee High School
Each student must record meetings with each project mentor. Mentors help guide students and offer help, support and suggestions regarding ideas, research, and the student’s tangible project.
Term 2: 2 Reviewer Verification Forms: One form from each of the two mentors
Term 3: 4 Reviewer Verification Forms: Two forms from each of the two mentors
Term 4: 4 Reviewer Verification Forms: Two forms from each of the two mentors
Grading Rubric:
Forms must be filled out by the mentor, signed and dated.
Reviewer Verification Forms should be given to the Senior Seminar Teacher to document the meeting.
