Senior Project Graduation Requirements
Mashpee School District requires all seniors to take Senior Seminar as a graduation requirement. Failure to complete ANY of the Senior Seminar requirements throughout the course of the school year will result in an incomplete and no credit, therefore not fulfilling district graduation requirements. Here are SOME reasons a student will receive no credit for Senior Seminar due to a failure to successfully complete Senior Seminar.
The Senior Seminar Advisory Committee has the final say about ALL matters regarding Senior Project issues. The group is comprised of the three Senior Seminar teachers and meets periodically throughout the year to approve topics and deal with appeals.
If a student fails to meet the Senior Seminar requirements and does not pass Senior Seminar, the student will be required to complete a list of assignments earning a 60% or better as well as take a financial literacy class during summer school.
