We are offering fundraising pick-up before & after dismissal on Wednesday, May 7th. The timeline for pickup will be 1:15 PM-2:30 PM

We will have tables near the main entrance. Staff members/volunteers will guide you to the appropriate spot to pick up your fundraiser items.

4th Grade HAL Experience
4th Grade HAL Experience
Our 4th Grade HAL students visited DLR Architectural Firm on Friday, March 7. We learned about different types of engineering, architecture, and interior design. Students were challenged to choose the best location to build a school on topographical boards and then "build" it with foam blocks and decide where to put parking lots, loops for drop off and pick up, playgrounds, etc. Our students rose to the occasion and came up with some insightful plans. They also worked on creating cantilevers as well as "ductwork" made out of straws to heat/cool multiple "rooms." Our trip concluded with a tour of the facility. In all, this was a great look at the opportunities available in the fields related to architecture and engineering.

As we near the end of the school year, we want to remind you to take a moment to check out our Lost and Found collection. Any unclaimed items will be donated to Goodwill by Friday, May 16th. If you believe your child may have misplaced something, please stop by the office and we'll be happy to assist you in locating it. Thank you!

5th Grade EOY (1).pdfMay 2nd 12:00-2:40 -- Middle School Orientation: Buses will be available for Upchurch students going to Andersen Middle School. For students going to other middle schools, it is the responsibility of the parent to organize transportation. Middle schools provide letters/messages to fifth grade families with transition information including transportation details. All middle schools serve lunch during this transition event. The elementary schools take care of the lunch charge at their buildings.
