A MESSAGE FROM MRS. HARRAHILL
Dear School Community,
As we approach the end of another wonderful school year, I want to express my gratitude for the amazing support from everyone. Your enthusiasm and dedication have made this year truly special for our students and staff.
We still have a week of fun activities ahead, including our highly anticipated all-school picnic on Wednesday. Additionally, I wanted to inform you about our summer communication schedule. We will be sending out one newsletter in June and one in July to keep you updated on important information and events.
Thank you again for being such an important part of our school community. Your involvement and commitment have made this year special, and I look forward to seeing many of you at the picnic next week!

MATH OLYMPIAD RESULTS
Math Olympiad is a contest for elementary and middle schools and includes participants from all 50 states, 3 US territories, and 30 foreign countries. In all there are 4,061 teams and approximately 90,000 participants.
Upchurch has had 4th and 5th grade students take part in this competion the last few years. For the elementary school level this year, we had:
1 student in the top 10%: Josh T.
4 students in the top 20 %: Austin A., Kal-El C. , Brynn D., and Landon C.
3 students in the top 25%: Saatvik K., Owen A., and Kaelum C.
3 students in the top 30%: Maddisen J., Baylor B., and Ethan T.
5 students in the top 40%: Heath E. Tim C., Lucy D., Jack A., and Zane R.
6 students in the top 50%: Liam O., Hattie K., Connor M., Easton B., RJ K., and Zachary P.
Congratulations, Mathmaticians!
Next year, we plan to expand this program and enter two teams!

UPCHURCH DAY AT GREEN BEANS
Please help us support one of our valued Partners for Education, Green Beans Coffee, today (May 17). They are open from 6 am - 3 pm. Online ordering is available from 7-2. The kitchen closes at 2:30 pm, but pastries and grab-and-go items are available until 3.
We appreciate Green Beans for supplying coffee for Upchurch events such as WatchDOG/Super Mom Kick Off, Grandparents Day, the Veterans Day Program, and Kindergarten Round-Up.

Breakfast served before school, lunch is not served.
Attention parents and guardians:
If your student has medication in the health office. All medications need to be picked up by an adult by 12:00 PM on May 23th. Medications can not be kept in the health office for next year, medications that have not been picked up will be disposed of at 12:30 PM on May 23th.
