A MESSAGE FROM MRS. HARRAHILL
Dear Leaper Families,
Warm greetings to you all! As we eagerly anticipate the upcoming Spring Break, we're thrilled to share an overview of the exciting end-of-year Leaper events that await us in April & May in the Ledger. Please take note of the following events and ensure they're marked on your calendars:
Spring Break Schedule:
No School: Monday, April 8th, through Friday, April 12th. Classes resume Monday, April 15th.
Special Events and Activities: scroll through the Google calendar.
When students return from break, we have more state and district testing. It is important for kids to have a great night of sleep and a nutritious breakfast so that they can perform to the best of their ability. We have worked so hard all year, and it's a great opportunity to celebrate individual student growth. After testing is over, we have many cherished traditions and events to look forward to. Continue to check out the Google calendar for updates!

Your support during Staff Appreciation Week has been truly extraordinary. From the thoughtful gestures to the kind words, you've made this week unforgettable for our staff. We feel incredibly fortunate and grateful to have such a caring community. Thank you for your generosity and for making us feel appreciated.

Similar to past years at Upchurch, we will not take specific teacher requests. Current teachers will also not be accepting specific teacher requests.
If your child will not be returning to Upchurch next year, please email Mrs. Barron (dbarron@mpsomaha.org) to inform the school.

KINDERGARTEN ROUND-UP - MAY 3RD
CHERRYDALE FUNDRAISER PICK UP - MAY 15
We are offering fundraising pick-up before & after dismissal on Wednesday, May 15th. The timeline for pickup will be 1:15 PM-2:30 PM
We will have tables near the main entrance. Staff members/volunteers will guide you to the appropriate spot to pick up your fundraiser items.
If this timeline does NOT work with your schedule, please contact Mrs. Barron at 402-715-7150 or dbarron@mpsomaha.org and we will work with your family.
We encourage families to come prior to dismissal if it works in your schedule. This allows a smoother dismissal for our students.
