A MESSAGE FROM MRS. HARRAHILL
Dear Upchurch Community,
I trust this message finds each of you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the warm welcome I've received upon my return from leave. The support from the community has truly made these first few days back remarkable.
We have a lot of exciting things planned for the remainder of the year, and we are eager to share some of them with you in today's Ledger newsletter. Please read our end-of-the-year Leaper Ledgers carefully and stay tuned for updates as they unfold.
Additionally, I want to remind everyone to mark their calendars for spring break, which is scheduled from April 8th to April 12th. It's a well-deserved time for relaxation and rejuvenation, so I encourage everyone to take full advantage of this break.
Thank you all once again for your warm welcome and support. Let's make the most of the weeks ahead prior to the break and continue to create memorable experiences for our students.
Mrs. Lindsey Harrahill

If you are signed up for a WatchDOG/SuperMOM shift and it no longer works in your schedule, please email Mrs. Mildenberger at eamildenberger@mpsomaha.org as soon as possible. A lot of time and attention is put in the schedules. A change in parent volunteers will need to go through the school. We have a waiting list of volunteers that we will contact to fill the spot. If you would like to be added to the waiting list, please email Mrs. Mildenberger to be added. When a cancellation occurs, the waiting list will be contacted in the order in which you asked to be put to the waiting list.
NSCAS AND MAP TESTING
Dear Parents / Guardians,
As a reminder, we will soon be completing the state test, NSCAS Growth. The Nebraska Department of Education requires testing in English Language Arts and Mathematics for students in Grades 3 - 5 as well as Science in Grades 5.
As a follow up from Fall and Winter testing, we will be administering the MAP Growth test in the spring for all students in grades K - 5 in Reading and Mathematics.
We will share the student reports for both tests when available via ParentVUE.
Please reach out with any questions.
