Upchurch Families,
Our first full week of school was fantastic! Our Leapers are learning classroom and school expectations. Be on the lookout in your email inbox for the Virtual Curriculum Night communication from your child(ren)'s teacher, which will be sent on August 30th.

MAKING PAYMENTS IN SYNERGY
MEDICATION PROCEDURES
All medication must be brought in by an adult, and a medication card must be filled out.
We cannot accept expired medications or medication that is not in the original packaging.
We can only give age appropriate doses; otherwise, we will need a medical note.
Students are not allowed to carry medications to school or take their own medications without supervision. This includes cough drops, throat lozenges, etc.
ARTIST IN RESIDENCY
We are excited to announce that we will be hosting an artist in residency this year. Catherine Witt will be introducing students to mosaics and working with them to create both a corporate and an individual piece of art. This project is being supported by the Nebraska Arts Council, which receives support from the State of Nebraska and the National Endowment for the Arts.
MSHS DANCE TEAM
If you enjoyed seeing the Millard South Dance Team help ring in the first day of school with Upchurch students and staff, check out their flyer for a dance team clinic they run. This is the largest fundraiser the MSDT does so the team can compete at state, regionally, and nationally. They are the 2023 Nebraska State Hip Hop Dance Champions!
