Confidence
What is your definition of Confidence?
My definition of confidence is not being afraid to do something scary, and having the bravery to do something scary also.
Something I have confidence in doing is public speaking, and I am also a very confident athlete. I like to swim, climb, and play football with my dad.
1. Something I have developed confidence in is my exhibition work. I did not do anything like this in any of my old schools, and I think I am learning the gist of it.
2. I used to do the Durango Devo group, and in the beginning I knew almost nothing about biking. But, as I progressed, I got more confident in my biking skills.
As some of you may know, I am a competitive swimmer for the Durango swim club. There is one race in particular that took a very long amount of time for me to master, and that is the 100 IM, (I will explain what that is) but the reason it took me so long to master is the fact that I was afraid of failure. It took me about one to three years to finally understand that. Once I learned to let go of fear, I got so much better at swimming.

Today I have invited Kendall, my aunt, over zoom, because she is just such a role model, and she is always supportive of me with whatever I do. I invited her for many reasons, but the main ones are that when it comes to sports, babysitting, and just being a great person. Every time we go over to her house, I always look forward to playing with her and my two little cousins.
At the beginning of the year, I tried to be like this inspiring person in my life by trying to be kind to everyone, and always being someone to look up to, because that is what she is always trying to do. Even when her house was getting remodeled and she was going through a hard time because of a pet, she was always positive and brought happiness to my life.
By the end of this year, She had taught me so much about how to care for kids, and that means a lot to me because working with kids is very important to me, and the fact that she taught me about this of her own free will is just amazing. If I’m being honest, when it comes to babysitting, she will probably be my first client.
