We made these posters to show we understood the seriousness of modern day slavery.
I am very proud of how my dish turned out. I decided to make Cinnamon Roasted Almonds, which are almonds that have been baked in a cinnamon-sugar coating, and everyone loved them. My presentation also went well, because I remembered my presentation without having to look at my notes too much. The hardest part about this exhibition was the fact that It was noisy because there were sixty different students presenting, so I had to find that perfect balance between being too quiet or too loud, but I think I found that perfect pitch. The habit of heart and mind I think I demonstrated the most was effort. At least three weeks of planning went into this exhibition to make it as close to perfect as we could. Those three weeks included research, practice, writing scrips, and finding the right recipes. I have always been in to cooking and baking, so this exhibition was for me.
