Hello, and welcome to my Student led Conference (SLC)!
The purpose of this is to tell and show what I’ve been doing in 6th grade so far.
I am liking 6th grade because of how kind and caring the people in my class are. I also like it because the work is hard, but not impossible. It's also fun, but not all games.
Middle school is way different from elementary school because the work is harder, there might be new ways of learning, and you have to meet harder standards.

For every grade at Mountain, there is a “lens” that each grade focuses on for the whole year. For 6th grade, its confidence.
My confidence is growing as I am also growing. I am learning to do new, and harder things. So, the things that I thought were hard in elementary now come easy to me.
I am confident in reading, science and art. I am confident in these things because l love to read, have a great art teacher and a great science teacher.
There is only one thing I need to work on, and that is math. It is much harder than elementary school, and I need some time to adjust.
