Letter to Future Self

Dear future self,

It is October 20, 2022, 8th grade has been ok so far. The beginning was very disappointing, because Will is in the other class. It took me a few weeks to get over it, and now I have left it in the past, I still have Jyles in my class, and Will and I hang out very often, so it all evens out. Tomorrow are SLC's, I don't like SLC's, I think that they are a waste of time, I show my parents all of my schoolwork, I don't need to present it at school to them. I am also doing the circus Nutcracker, on November 19th and 20th. How did it go? I am in Stillwater and orchestra SIG right now. Maya forced me to stay in orchestra, and they said we could go to Denver and to Eliches if we do the SIG every quarter and then we get to compete! How did that go??? Are Will and Jyles still your best friends??? How did dressing up as the PJ Masks go?? Did Jyles wear his costume on Halloween night? Or did he abandon Will and I? Did we start writing more concise summaries in Humanities? How is Cornbread? Mom? Dad? I have started to read much different books, such as A COurt of Thorns and Roses, A Ruin of Roses, The Name of The Wind, (which is amazing) and Maya is reading Tum Tum and Nutmeg... There is a considerably smaller amount of homework this year. It's strange. I am going to help Will paint his room tomorrow. I watched Titanic again, and got Will to watch a little. Did he follow through with his word and come to Spain??? I love drawing mandalas and reading. Have a great year!!!

Letter To Future Self

Dear future self,

It is 11:04 AM, October 13th, 2021, I am in seventh grade, I sit next to Izzy and Will is behind me. Dylan is being loud and crazy. I love colors and hate black. I have a Piano lesson with Lawrence after school and an Aerial class with Piper and Cadence after that. There is a lot of homework! I normally spend about 1-3 hours every night! Thursdays are my most busy days. I have Devo for two hours and then I have to finish my homework. I always get stressed on Thursdays! My dad is on a camping trip with Andy, Pebble and Dragon passed away this summer. Did we get a fish? How is the Band going? Did you get better at reading sheet music? Are you going to do a Keyboard solo? Is Will still good at Piano? School is not as stressful as last year, although I am really nervous about POL’s and TPOL’s. How was the school dance? I do Aerial Circus and Acrobatics, did you get the full splits? I am so close right now! DO you still love the exhilaration of doing Aerial? It snowed overnight, there was snow on the mountain and on the neighbors houses. Did you ever make the chocolate cake? Are we still going to the Hot Springs every Monday and Wednesday? Math is better this year, I feel more confident. ELA is my favorite subject, Humanities and Science are fine. I finished KOTLC and I am reading Aru Shah #4. How did the ELA exhibition go? How is Cornbread? Did Elle ever get the Flying Trapeze? DID I EVER DO A SHOW ON IT? Did we watch Titanic again? Stay happy and be yourself!
