In art, we have been learning how to make new forms of art with new materials and experiences.

Artsonia

Effort:

I feel like I show effort in art class because I always put my all into my work so that in the end, I am proud of it.

Refinement:

I think that I show refinement in art by making any necessary changes to my work to make it better and do my best.

Respect:

I show respect in art by supporting others and trying to support myself, but I still need to work on that.

Integrity:

I show integrity in art because I tell my peers and teacher when I need help or when I did something wrong, this ends up being very helpful towards my growth.

Projects

Stem cells

This artwork is showing stem cells. Stem cells are very important to our bodies, they create every and any type of specialized cell that a living organism requires.

Identity Project

My inspiration for this artwork was to represent how I feel kind of torn between my two halves, my mom and my dad. I am half from Spain, and the beach, and from the U.S. and the forest. So I drew me looking out from the forest to the beach, showing how I have a foot in both places.

Mandala

This was one of my favorite projects to make, it was so incredibly fun and relaxing, I have made three more so far. I LOVE THEM!!!!

Stretch and explore

My goal for Stretch and explore is mostly to work on explore, because I want to make a habit of finding new inspiration out of new things and new places.

Progress: I have thought more deeply about what and were to draw my inspiration from now, so I have more unique and creative art than last year.

Develop craft

My goal for Develop Craft is to learn about even more materials and expand my ways of making art. I want to expand my artwork vocabulary!!!

Progress: I have made more interesting artwork that I am very proud of, including new perspectives and works.
