Year Summary
In math this year, we have been learning about dilations, translations, reflections, congruence and similarity. We have also been learning about Linear equations & functions, mostly algebra and variable equations.
Math Smart Goals
By the end of the 1st semester, I will have completed Unit 1: Geometric Transformation: Unit Test, Unit 3: Linear Relationships: Unit Test and Unit 4: Linear Equations & Linear Systems with a mastery level of at least 80% by using my time in math class well and finishing anything that I have left at home. I will ask Mr. Fix any questions that I have.
By the end of the 1st semester, I will have a 5 min presentation about Ada Lovelace and her contributions to mathematics. This presentation will include a biography and her discoveries. I will work on this at home and school, so that I can finish it before Thanksgiving break to have it ready to present.
