For my W.O.W. project, I wanted to create a mandala, because over the summer, I started to practice creating these wonderful pieces of art more and more, and I love doing it! I wanted to try to make this one more symmetrical and intricate than the last one I made, which was way simpler. I am very proud of how it turned out! 

For this project, we looked at some examples of realism collages for inspiration, and then created our own. I do not normally enjoy or prefer to make collages, and I have never considered myself particular skilled in this area, but I think that I worked to improve on this project a ton! I started out with many different ideas, and through long trial and error, created this one.

This project was very fun to complete, it made me step outside my comfort zone. I put a ton of effort into finishing this project, and it is probably only the second time that a painting of mine has not turned out terribly. I have never particularly enjoyed painting, but this was pretty fun to do. In the future, I would like to try something like this again!
