This quiz was all about elements on the periodic table and how they work. It included protons neutrons and electrons along with valence electrons and shells, which all make up an atom. I got an meets, and worked really hard to do so. For the future I want to keep up the pace of meets and and exceeds.

This quiz was about Ionic and Covalent Bonds, Chemical Reactions, Physical Changes, and Chemical Equations. I got a 6/8, Meets, on this quiz, which isn't the best ever, but I tried my best and ultimately learned what I did wrong and how to fix it. In the future, I think it would benefit me to stay focused and study before the test.

The content we covered on this test included atoms and what they have in them and how to draw and make them, Endothermic and Exothermic reactions, Physical Changes and Chemical Reactions, Conservation of Mass equations, and Types of Chemical Reactions. I got a 34/37, Meets+ on this test because I studied, and asked questions to understand the content to the best of my ability. My goal for the next science quiz is to continue to study and not get overwhelmed with the questions. This will help me stay focused and get the best grade possible. As you can see I applied my corrections from the last test to this one.

The Science of Rainbow Flames
This exhibition was so much fun! I had Rhyse and Stella in my group and we researched Rainbow Fire. For this reaction, we put methanol and metal salts into dishes and lit them. The electrons get exited and ultimately created a colorful flame. This experiment was so incredible to learn about and I am so exited for what comes next for Science!

Recently we have been learning about sound waves and studying things like what they are and what they do. This has been such a fun unit and I am so exited to learn more about waves, but for our first quiz, it was about Amplitude, Frequency, Wavelength, Radio Waves, and so much more! This quiz was very challenging because I felt like I hadn't memorized the contents to solidify it in my brain. Ultimately I am got a meets on this quiz. Which was exiting because I hadn't really felt supper confident. I am exited to learn more about this unit!!

The pourpose of an Anchor Chart is to sumarize what you learned in class so you can both remember and reflect and also have a tool to come back to for quizes and to reember the topics covered. I got a meets on my second Anchor Chart. On my next one I hope to get a meets again or even an exceeds and push myself even harder to do so. Overall, I am happy about my grade and my Anchor Chart and am exited to do it again to reflect and rempber what I learn to lock it in to my brain.
