Hakuna Matata is my confidence picture because for dance we did a production and I was baby simba. I got to be in the Hakuna Matata part!
What is your definition of Confidence?
My definition of confidence is the feeling or belief that you can do something, or not in an unrealistic way, but in a realistic and secure way.
What is something that you have confidence in doing?
Somethings I feel really confident in for school are ELA, and Humanities. Somethings I feel really confident in outside of school are making friends, dance, skiing, and dirt biking.

Something that I have gained confidence in this semester is math because I didn't feel very comfortable with it and I was trying to pay more attention in class, and now I feel pretty confident.
How has your confidence developed during your sixth grade year?
My confidence has grown in school by me paying a lot of attention in class and understanding what we are doing
my confidence has grown outside of school in making friends because at the start of the school year i had only a couple of friends, but now i have a lot.
What can challenges or failures teach us about confidence?
An example of a failure or challenge that has taught me confidence is one time i was doing math and I kept getting the problems wrong because I wasn't working them out all the way, I tried solving the problems a different way, a way I understood, and from then on I kept getting them right. this taught me confidence because it is important to keep going even if its hard, and in this example to try a different way.
This is my confidence poster, it has my friends and the thing I like to do, that I feel comfortable with. I didn't have many pictures of my confidence but these are the ones I had.
Confidence Reflection
The 6th grade lens is Confidence. At the beginning of the year, Confidence meant that you are not afraid to show your talents and strengths, but also your weaknesses, and feeling sure of yourself and your abilities. At the beginning of the year, I demonstrated this lens by being confident in what I'm saying and doing. By the end of this year, my confidence has grown tremendously. One example of my confidence growing is in my assignments I make sure to tell the truth and I am not afraid to do so. An assignment that I demonstrated confidence in is my video I made in math for the three things I learned for a project.
