Institutional Infrastructure to Support Educator Preparation

Element 3

How will the education unit ensure that faculty and instructional personnel in the proposed program regularly and systematically collaborate with colleagues in P-12 settings, college and university units, and members of the broader educational community to improve educator preparation. Provide documentation how faculty and instructional personnel are informed of this requirement.

The MCS CASC Induction Program systematically collaborates with other Induction programs and IHEs.

  • The annual induction state conference includes Commission led break-out sessions

  • Cluster Three Induction collaborative meetings three times a year. Time is set aside for collaboration and a question and answer period

  • North Valley Collaborative (NVC) meets every other month during the school year & is comprised of all local induction leaders and local IHEs. We are able to add items on the shared agenda to support each organization’s individual needs or questions. Collaboration between IHEs and Induction programs is always included in each meeting.

  • The Administrator of Special Projects, Induction will attend Local Program Consortium, CASC programs.

  • All coaches will collaborate through district meetings and ACSA Leadership Coaching Network

  • University Partnership with CSU Stanislaus, Dr. Anthony Johnson will serve on Administrative Leadership Team

MCS local Induction program includes collaboration:

  • between mentors

  • between Administrative Candidates (AC)

  • MCS Advisory Team

Link to all above mentioned regularly and systematically collaborate.
