Emphasis will be placed on daily care, maintenance strategies, and long-term preservation efforts. Through this case example, participants will gain practical insights into the challenges and successes of managing a major heritage site in Bhutan, and how the HSMP has helped safeguard Punakha Dzong while balancing the needs of conservation, tourism, and local communities.
