Publications and Media Club

in 2019, the students focus was to develop leadership and media skills & literacy development (Photography & Videography) within Publications & Media Club. Leadership, photography and videography are customised and designed towards this development. The outcomes of this development have all our students spearheading the photography exhibition at National level at Jurong Regional Library. We have extended our community outreach via Values in Action projects with Fei Yue Community for the Elderly and interactions with members of the public at the Jurong Regional Library.

We also continue to see to our resources building up in physical space and media equipment for students. This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the students were challenged to adapt quickly to assist the school in covering major events with the use of live streaming technologies. These events included the annual National Day celebrations, online Parent-Teacher Conferences as well as awards ceremonies such as the Edusave Award for Achievement, Good Leadership and Service (EAGLES). This experience truly prepares our students to face the challenges of an ever-changing world and equips them with the necessary skills, attitudes and values to be effective leaders within the media industry.
