Malay Dance

Going beyond dance, Swiss Malay Dance Club focuses on building friendship and making sure that our dancers will emerge as Thoughtful Leaders upon graduation. 2020 was indeed an interesting and challenging year for many of us. For the first time ever, we embarked on conducting CCA sessions online when schools were given the go-ahead to resume CCA. This did not deter our dancers’ spirit to continue dancing and learning from home.

One of the memorable experiences this year is our dancers managed to conduct 2 VIA projects. We were involved in making care packages and collecting pre-loved clothes for the various institutions in our society that needed them. Our dancers felt accomplished being given the opportunity to give back to this very special group of people. With a very strong bond among our dancers, everyone looks out for one another and this sets the foundation of the club, to be united as one, and to never leave anyone behind.
