Netball
In Netball CCA, we seek to develop the skills of each player by training towards competitions. Every player has an opportunity to play in a competition. Besides building up the skills and knowledge of our players, we also build character through our training sessions. These sessions teach us resilience and the importance of working as a team. We also learnt to be grateful and not take things for granted particularly when we face tough times such as when COVID-19 in earlier years disrupted all our training and competitions.
Besides training for the National School Games, the Netball CCA participates in numerous competitions throughout the year such as the Pesta Sukan competition and the Daisy Tan Carnival. Our team also organises an Under 14 Netball Carnival and invites up to 9 other schools to participate. Our girls organise and umpire these matches with various levels taking on the various roles and responsibilities. These allow opportunities for the players to all go through competition and grow from the training and experience. We also organise annual camps for focused training as well as to build team bonds.

2023 CCA Experience
2023 was definitely a year to remember in SCNetball history. Not only was this a year filled with learning, it was also a year full of achievements. Our journey was certainly not the most smooth sailing, but through these obstacles, we emerged stronger as a team and as a family. We ended this year on a high note when our B division and C division team emerged Zonal Champions. This was also the first year we could take part in Nationals due to the easing of Covid-19 restrictions, making our NSG season an even more exciting and rewarding one. For our ‘B’ Division team, we fell short of making the Nationals Top 4 by one game, but it was certainly a feat to have made it into the Top 8! We aim to make 2024 an even more fulfilling season for SCNetball and we will strive to reach greater heights!
