This experience of going to AWWA home to conduct this activity of allowing them to paint the oil lamps has been a really positive experience for me. In this activity, the people from AWWA home was able to have fun and I was able to interact with them. I learnt that I should be more patient with people and I really appreciate it. Going forward, I am sure that this experience will be a valuable learning experience for the trip to Vietnam, where we have to teach children!

I think this was a very positive experience as I was able to see first hand on how the residents are trying their best to paint the clay lamps. I saw them struggling to paint the clay lamps but did not have a thought of giving up. I have learnt that i should not give up so easily, and we should try our best in all things we do. If they don't give up, how can we.
