Our Vision Statement
Transforming learning through meaningful and purposeful use of technology to nurture future-ready learners.
What This Means
🎓
Empowered Learners
Preparing our students to meet the challenges of the 21st century so that they can apply their knowledge to understand and solve real-world challenges using 21st century skills — learning and innovation skills, digital literacy skills, and career and life skills.
👩🏫
Empowered educators
Building the capacity of our teachers in technology-pedagogy integration for teaching and learning, so that both existing and enhanced teaching pedagogical practices can be supported, extended, and sustained.
💡
Engaging Learning Experiences
Leverage technology and emerging tools such as AI to enrich teaching and learning, enabling students to explore ideas, solve problems, collaborate effectively, and create meaningfully. By designing authentic and engaging learning experiences, we nurture adaptable, resilient, and future-ready learners.
👨🏼💻
Enriched Environment
Create a vibrant digital ecosystem where technology enhances communication, collaboration, and innovation. By providing opportunities, resources, and support, we enable meaningful learning experiences for all members of the school community.
Our ICT strategy is built on four interconnected pillars that guide the effective use of technology across the school, supporting teaching and learning, developing digital competencies and strengthening school processes.
Pillar 01
P
Programme
Structured ICT programmes that develop students' digital literacy and technological skills across all levels — from touch typing and Code for Fun to Cyber Wellness and beyond.
Pillar 02
P
Policies
Clear policies and guidelines — including the data mangement, AI use guidelines and tech routines — that ensure safe, responsible and ethical use of technology.
Pillar 03
P
Pedagogy
Purposeful technology-pedagogy integration grounded in e-Pedagogy, the 8 Key Applications of Technology (KAT), and the Singapore Teaching Practice (STP).
Pillar 04
P
Professional Development
Ongoing teacher learning — school-based ICT workshops, external courses, good practices sharing, and a culture of collaborative growth in EdTech practice.
Our Curriculum Framework
A stable framework for technology-enabled learning
At the heart of our curriculum framework is where the needs of the 21st century learners reside. They are encapsulated in a circle which is representative of a well-rounded student which we hope a Marist will be. These needs are nested within a smaller triangle anchored by three essential sets of skills, namely global awareness skills, collaboration skills and communication skills. These skills can be acquired if the use of ICT is leveraged in the teaching of the various disciplines adhering closely to the objectives of the syllabi.
At the same time, the capacity of the teachers has to be enhanced if they are to have competency and ability to infuse ICT in their lessons. The Professional Learning Communities (PLC) provides the platform for teachers’ development and want-in. ICT, PLC and the curriculum are the 3–pronged approach which is represented by a bigger triangle. The triangle with its broad base and apex is a stable figure, chosen to represent the stable and conducive environment for learning.
School's Strategic Plan (PR10)
We harness technology purposefully to enhance teaching, strengthen relationships, and nurture future-ready learners. Through blended learning, digital tools, responsible AI use, and meaningful e-Pedagogy, students are empowered to collaborate, think critically, create innovatively, and grow as responsible digital citizens. At the same time, teachers continue to strengthen their professional practice through ongoing learning, collaboration, and purposeful integration of educational technology.
