In the 28th P Girls' Brigade, the girls will learn Christian values, to lead and to serve. They will learn to develop self-control, reverence, and a sense of responsibility through active involvement in outdoor activities and badge work.
The Girls' Brigade Junior Programme aims to build character and inculcate good values in the girls. This programme consists of six segments:
Girls' Brigade - To build character and inculcate good values
My Journey - Girls will go on exciting learning journeys to explore the world and their place in it
My Service - Girls will serve the community around them to cultivate a heart of service
My Treasure - Girls will work on hands-on activities to discover their talents and abilities
My Activity - Girls will participate in physical activities to learn physical skills
My Responsibilities - Girls will take on tasks to develop a sense of responsibilities
Treasure Badge - Upcycling
The girls learnt about the importance of upcycling and created a stationary holder with used toilet paper rolls.
Treasure Badge - Cushion Making
The girls learnt to make a personalized cushion.
They designed the cushion cover all by themselves!
Firstly, they drew & painted the cushion cover.
Then, they stuffed it with cotton.
Last but not least, they sew it up and TADA~~!!!!!
Journey Badge - A Walk to Bishan Park
We took a walk to Bishan Park from school.
Upon reaching, we not only learnt about the history of Bishan park but also the importance of mental health.
This is the theme for this year's National Event - Low Guat Tin's Challenge.
BETTER MINDS BETTER TOMORROW
The girls then drew beautiful pictures of Bishan Park and submitted their artworks for the challenge.

GB Camp 2021 - Set Our Hearts In Tune
Due to the tightening measures of Phase 2 (Heightened Alert), we were not able to have our camp.
However, we managed to bring the camp online!
The girls had fun completing the various activities and obtaining their badges at the same time!
Service Badge - KCPPS Clean & Green Campaign
The SLS activity guided the girls to understand what service is and its importance, and to show acts of service to the school community by helping to design posters for the Clean & Green Campaign.
Activity Badge - Learning a new skill
The SLS activity guided the girls to to carry out a meaningful activity, either through learning new things or showing appreciation to the people who have made a difference in their lives.
Responsibility Badge - Helping with chores at home
The SLS activity guided the girls to to understand how to be a responsible child at home. They were also encouraged to help with at least 6 household chores at home.
GB Friendship Day 2021- Adopt A Wish
In collaboration with Southwest Community Development Council, the Girls’ Brigade helped to fulfill the specific wishes of 3,000 vulnerable individuals during this year’s GB Friendship Day. Our school helped to adopt 10 of these wishes. Our GB girls and their parents donated the items and blessed the elders generously from the Senior Activity Centre.
GB Day 2021
Junior Leadership Training Camp (JLTC)
14 girls were selected this year to attend JLTC.
The training aims to equip them with the necessary skills needed in leading a squad and planning activities for the company.
Upon successful completion of the Junior Leadership Training, they were awarded the JLTC badge and will be expected to lead the squad in 2021 and 2022.
